times and trials

well, its saturday morning and im sitting inside waiting for dad to finishing preparing all the stuff so i can be a brickie.. i dont mind working at home on saturdays.. i do have to work my ass off for $zero.. but it is good to have a hand in the house getting finished.. although by the end of the day i am absolutly stuffed..

as of last thursday i am without work again.. we finished the job for kates dad.. so now.. i am unemployed, except for my terrible caltex job.. stupid caltex!! *shakes fist* who would want to work friday nights anyhow! but i cant really live on that because i only work 1x6hour shift a week and that one gives me $68 (+ what ever tip the nightly drunk gives me..)
yesterday before work i took my resume to nth richmond panthers in the hope that i could get a job there, but annoyingly enough when i took it down there were no sheets that you have to fill in.. so i have to drive back down on monday and try and fill it in..
on thursday night i went to carly's and was incredibly tired after having about 22hours sleep since sunday morning.. while i was there her dad was still removing the slate floors with the jackhammer.. which was a VERY loud noise.. and as an example of how tired i was i managed to fall asleep at 8:30 (which is STUPIDLY early!!) and slept through 3 and a half hours of jackhammering and was woken up at 9:30 friday morning because we were going out.. which is pretty insane..

while i dont have a job im going to try and get to the gym as much as possible to get some decent workouts.. because i hate not hiving time to go, or being way to tired to go as i was last week..

next week my mum is getting an operation on her knee.. she had x-rays taken because it has been hurting for bloody ages and she has a bone fragment floating around in there.. so i am going to be the mum for the next week or 2.. although it sux to see her in pain i was the first one to look at the x-rays and i saw the fragment and said that was what was wrong with it.. and noone else could see it until i showed them.. i was pretty smug when the doctor told her that it was a bone fragment that was the problem.. maby studying anatomy did help me somewhat.. even if i did fail it.. hehe

so far taking this semester off was such a good idea.. i have been so relaxed and just plain happy (for the most part).. knowing that all i have to do in the week is go to some sort of work and earn a few $$$ is so much better than my previous semester of going to uni 5days a week and stressing my ass off about how much i have to learn and worrying about my next assesment and all that crap..
although i will go back to uni if i dont get the apprenticeship i want its just a matter of time..

currently my grandparents are on holidays up at cape-york.. which sounds like it would be very awesome.. but when they come back i am going to head upto the entrance and stay with them for a week or so.. just hang out with the oldies, play some lawn bowls and just relax.. hehe.. my grandparents are fun and i enjoy hanging out with them.. which probly sounds like a weird thing coming from an 18yo guy.. but its true..

well although that was a very fragmented post about nothing much at all.. it was good to finally update.. (sorry if nothing there makes sence)

I think it's cool that you want to hang out with your grandparents. I can just imagine you hanging around the bowling club like that guy out of crackerjack. Just don't have to many devonshire teas- think of your waist line. :P

I hope your mum is okay, Daniel. Your never around much anymore, but at least you finally updated. You get a cookie for that!

*hugs* xxx
